That's why we have implemented our Anytime Refund Policy for specific hosting services to provide you with the flexibility and peace of mind you deserve.


Eligible Services

Our Anytime Refund Policy applies exclusively to web hosting services such as shared web hosting, business cloud hosting, WordPress hosting, and Node.js hosting. If you are not fully satisfied with any of these hosting services, you have the option to request a refund. The refund eligibility may be determined by our refund processing team, based on various factors such as the amount of time you have used our services or if you have violated any of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). We reserve the right to deny refund requests if they are deemed frivolous or abusive.

We want you to have the confidence to explore our hosting services without any financial worries. We believe in providing you with the freedom to make informed decisions about your hosting needs. Anytime Refund Calculation

Refunds under the anytime refund policy are calculated on a pro-rata basis for the unused days of service, based on the pricing of the nearest billing period. Let's consider an example: Suppose you initially signed up for a 3-year hosting plan but decide to cancel after using the service for 1 year. In this case, you will only be charged for the 1-year period and the days until your service remains active beyond that. The chargeable amount will be based on the pricing of the 1-year plan, and you will receive a refund for the unused days according to the pro-rata calculation.


Non-Eligible Services and Exclusions

While we strive to provide you with a seamless hosting experience, there may be certain services or products that are not eligible for a refund under the anytime refund policy. These include but not limited to virtual machines (VMs) or services that require VMs like box servers, containerized VPS, remote workspaces, managed services, VPS, and cloud services. Additionally, reseller hosting, dedicated servers, and managed servers are also exempt from this refund policy.

The following services and products are not eligible for the anytime refund policy, even if you cancel within the applicable refund period:

  • VPS or Cloud or Virtual Servers or Virtual Machine or Remote Workspace and any type of virtualization reated services.
  • Dedicated Server and related services
  • Support services or server Management or managed service package.
  • Custom service packages.
  • Any setup fees or processing fees
  • Dedicated IP addresses
  • Any third-party application, software, service or license.
  • Domain registration, domain transfers or domain renewals and SSL certificates.
  • Add-ons or services, such as additional storage or bandwidth, that you purchase separately from the main hosting plan.
  • Any free trials or promotional offers.
  • Any custom or modified services or products.
  • Any services or products that are not purchased directly from BigBoxHost.
  • Any service is used to test your program/script and cancel when it is done

BigBoxHost reserves the right to deduct fees at the time of refund for value added services that may have been included in the Services at no additional fee, it may be but not limited to WHMCS license, cPanel license or SSL certificate, domain name, or any other software, application, license, or addon services.

Along with the services following methods of payment are non-refundable, and refunds will be posted as credit to the hosting account for current or future Services: bank wire transfers, Western Union payments, checks, and money orders.


Cancellation Terms

Before you cancel your hosting plan, please note that there are no refunds for domain registration fees, SSL certificates, or other add-ons or services, including any unused portion of free services or promotional offers. Also, any data that you have uploaded or created on our servers cannot be retrieved after your account is cancelled, so please back up your data before cancelling. Additionally, if your hosting account is suspended or in jeopardy due to violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, we may not be able to provide a refund.


Refund Payments

We will process any refunds due to you as soon as possible, and the payment method used for the initial purchase will be refunded. However, please note that it may take some time for the refund to appear on your bank statement, depending on your bank's processing times. Additionally, if you paid for your hosting service with a credit card, the credit may take a few days to appear on your statement.

Exchange rate fluctuations for international payments are constant and unavoidable. Like all payments, all refunds are processed in U.S. dollars, and will reflect the exchange rate in effect on the date of the refund. All refunds are subject to this fluctuation and BigBoxHost is not responsible for any change in exchange rates between time of payment and time of refund. In addition, BigBoxHost reserves the right to refuse a refund at any time for any or no reason.


Changes to the Policy

We may change or update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to all customers after they are posted. We encourage you to review the policy regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes. Your continued use of our services following the posting of changes to the policy will be deemed as acceptance of those changes.
